Article Processing Charges
Current Policy
At present, Electron Today does not charge any Article Processing Fees. All submitted manuscripts are processed, peer-reviewed, and published under a fully open-access model without publication fees. Authors are not required to pay submission fees, review fees, or publication charges.
This policy reflects our commitment to promoting equitable access to scholarly publishing and supporting researchers regardless of institutional or financial background.
Future APC Policy (If Applicable)
To ensure the long-term sustainability and operational continuity of the journal, Electron Today may introduce a reasonable and affordable Article Processing Charge (APC) in the future.
Any APC implemented will be:
-
Clearly announced in advance
-
Transparently disclosed on the journal website
-
Affordable and proportionate to operational costs
-
Applied solely to support editorial management, digital infrastructure, DOI registration, archiving, indexing preparation, and platform maintenance
Electron Today does not operate as a commercial publishing entity, and any future APC will not be intended for profit generation, but rather to cover essential operational expenses and maintain publication quality standards.
Waiver and Discount Policy
Should APC be introduced, Electron Today will consider:
-
Partial or full waivers for authors from low-income countries
-
Institutional agreements
-
Special issue arrangements
-
Academic partnership support
The journal remains committed to inclusivity and academic accessibility.
Transparency Commitment
Electron Today upholds principles of:
-
No hidden charges
-
No fast-track fees compromising peer review
-
No mandatory additional service payments
All editorial decisions are independent of financial considerations.
